What is it???
It's a filmmaker's dream challenge.
Using one of the two winning scripts from the literature communities prior contest... the film community is invited to turn a One-Act Play into a short film that presents the creativity and vision behind the written script.
This is a unique opportunity for a collaboration between the literature and film artists and provides an excellent experience for any film maker and animator!
In other words, if you ever intend to be able to create a visual film/video/animation from someone else's idea/script/screenplay, this is your chance to see how well you do! Who knows, if you impress us enough, you might be invited to work on future projects with dA Film!
It's ONE act.
Not too long, not too tough. You just need to interpret the words into a film or animation. Up for it?? we hope so!
If this works well, we'll also get the musicians involved for a later contest so that they can create musical scores for these types of collaborations.
